FAQ
Before ordering, it’s important to confirm your tablet size and enclosure type. Tablets under 11" use a Medium housing, while 11.1"–13" tablets require a Large housing. Each Fit Kit helps ensure a perfect fit and screen alignment. Because every installation has different access and security needs, we also offer multiple frame options—ranging from full-screen openings to limited access for buttons, menus, or cameras—so your enclosure performs exactly as intended.
How do I know if my tablet requires a Medium or Large housing?
Before ordering a Fit Kit, confirm your tablet’s screen size.
- Tablets under 11" use a Medium housing.
- Tablets 11.1" to 13" require a Large housing.
If you’re upgrading from a 10.2" tablet to a 13" model, your existing Fit Kit will not be compatible. In that case, a new VESA enclosure — which includes the correct Fit Kit — will be required to ensure proper fit and function.
Why are there different frame options for screen openings?
Our tablet enclosures are used across a wide range of industries, each with unique requirements for security and user access. To accommodate this, we offer several frame styles:
- Screen Access – Exposes the full viewing area of the display (excluding system menu bars).
- Screen + Menu Access – Includes openings for on-screen navigation or control bars when needed.
- Screen + Button/Camera Access – Adds openings for hardware buttons or front cameras.
These options help balance security, functionality, and user experience depending on how the kiosk will be used.
What does the “pinhole home” option mean?
The pinhole home option is designed specifically for tablets that have a physical home button on the front of the device. It provides a small, precise opening that allows limited access to that button using a pin or tool. This gives administrators a way to exit a locked application or perform maintenance without exposing full access to the public. It’s ideal for managed or kiosk-mode tablets where security and controlled access are important.
