Tablets Change The In-Store Experience
The retail environment is a highly competitive space, where brands not only compete with each other but with technology to grab the attention of consumers. A trip to the local mall confirms this, with consumers wandering to and from their destinations with their heads bowed towards the screen of their smartphones. Many retailers struggle with this new reality and ask "what can we do different?"
Bringing tablet tech into retail stores is one way to stand out and engage your consumers. Spanx is embracing this technology and using tablets to connect with their customers in new and exciting ways, all while maintaining their mission to help women feel great about themselves and their potential.
Digital Signage at Spanx Retail
Creating an incredible in-store experience has been critical to the success of Spanx in the 2014 launch of their line of denim products, so Spanx turned to Armodilo. With a custom-built application and Armodilo’s sleek and attractive desktop tablet enclosures, Spanx is offering consumers a truly unique experience. These tablet-powered interactive kiosks with UV printed logos on the faceplate walk users through a fit finder experience, allowing them to select products, styles and colours in one seamless exchange. The app even includes behind-the-scenes footage from Spanx founder Sara Blakely.
Spanx understood the opportunity that tablets provide in the retail space, and with this venture they’re sure to give their consumers an engaging experience that will keep them coming back to their stores.
